The Nairobi Coffee & Tea Co. was founded in 1925 by British adventurers John Coote and Lieutenant Colonel Russell Collings-Wells, drawing on their years among the coffee estates of Kenya. The Coote lineage carried the house forward through successive generations, including Sir Christopher Coote, 15th Baronet. A century on, their spirit of exploration and their uncompromising standards continue to define the company: quality before profit, taste above fashion, and aroma without concession.
The Nairobi Coffee & Tea Company sources coffee beans from exceptional coffee-growing regions around the world. Our single-origin coffees come from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Java, Sumatra and Kenya, including our distinctive Kenya Peaberry coffee. Each origin is selected for its flavour, character and authenticity.
For over 100 years we have been crafting our coffee blends from the finest beans, developing refined roasting approaches that produce remarkable taste ranges. We have never compromised on excellence over profit.
